For 17 years, Lindsey Reis has been the steadfast force driving the mission of Hope Harbour, a haven of hope and healing for victims of domestic violence. As Executive Director, Lindsey’s leadership is a shining example of compassion, resilience, and unwavering commitment. Her passion for empowering survivors and fostering change radiates through every aspect of her work.

Under Lindsey’s leadership, Hope Harbour is more than just an organization—it’s a community built on the pillars of collaboration, transparency, inclusivity, and accountability. Her relentless dedication ensures that Hope Harbour operates with integrity, always staying true to its mission to combat domestic violence and support victims with dignity and respect.

A Journey of Compassion
Lindsey’s journey to this role began in a very different setting. As a social worker in a hospital, she cared for elderly patients with empathy and kindness. But one fateful day, she found one of her patients deceased on the bathroom floor. It was a heartbreaking moment of clarity for Lindsey—she knew her path had to change. That pivotal experience propelled her into the world of advocacy and community support, where she has since dedicated her life to making a profound difference.

Balancing Leadership and Family
Beyond her professional achievements, Lindsey is also a dedicated mom to three amazing children. Her 23-year-old stepson and her two younger kids—her 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son—are her biggest cheerleaders. Both younger children are active athletes, keeping Lindsey busy with softball and baseball games at Calvary! Despite her full schedule, Lindsey embraces the chaos with grace, supporting her family with the same strength she brings to her work.
