More Than You Could Ever Imagine or Guess or Request in Your Wildest Dreams

When I graduated college, I had a beautiful piece of paper from the University of Georgia that said I was an Interior Designer, lol.
From there I got married, did that for a very brief time, and then did everything else you could imagine (property management, Parisians mascot, hung wallpaper, nanny, project management, and helped a radiology group, just to name a few). Threw in two kids over the years, and move across the country and back.
If you had told me when I graduated that I would be a portrait photographer, I would have doubted you! I really enjoyed a camera in my hand, but really didn’t think much of it.
I started just for fun when the boys were born. Taking pictures of them, their friends, activities they were involved in. And it began to grow into something more. People reaching out to have me photograph them, their children, their family, and I did so gladly as a hobby.
Then one day Charlie (my precious hugand) asked me to lunch. We met by the cutest little building but it was empty. I asked him where were we going to eat, cause I was hungry, lol. He took me inside and I kept questioning him. He showed me around and then looked me in the eye and said, “You have a gift” photographing people, what are you waiting for! I am sure I looked like a deer in headlights but I didn’t know what to say.
He told me that the empty space was for me to open up a studio. I was speechless!!!! I had never thought of creating portraits for a living and certainly never dreamed of opening up my own photography studio!!!! But God had a plan, and Charlie saw it and he had the vision that I didn’t. I really knew nothing about business, or starting a photography business, but we did it…….
And about 18 years later here I am, loving that I still get to create beautiful artwork for so many friends and still thanking God for giving Charlie that vision all those years ago!
I invite you to a contemporary portrait session with me, it will be more than you could ever dream or imagine, and change the way you see yourself! #portraitexperience #transformative #addictive
